After being in the office for many years, Taylor Wimpey decided to refurbish the entire property to better reflect its brand and create a more efficient working environment. We worked with their senior management team to define their requirements, analyse their space usage and design and build a collaborative space that would excite and motivate their colleagues day after day.
Whether it’s moving somewhere quiet with a laptop to focus, catching up over coffee, or taking advantage of a formal meeting room; Taylor Wimpey were after a variety of working spaces to suit the varied needs of their teams and their many visiting staff members and as this was the 3rd Taylor Wimpey office we had created it needed to remain in keeping with those refreshed regional offices.
Using predetermined guidelines we were able to apply previously tested concepts, give them a twist and apply them to the space, calmer colour pallets were used to create a more relaxed environment, an orangery has added to the rear of the property to provide additional space within the staff breakout area which nicely lead staff to a relaxed external space. The old leaky windows where replaced throughout, the latest AV systems where installed to provide cutting edge, flexible workspaces along with an all new mechanical, security, power and data allowing long term resilience to the group. The old mix and match furniture was also replaced to allow every inch of the space to be utilised.
